Our layout incorporates six stations and two branch lines. The layout is an end-to-end layout, with the option to run in a continuous circuit, bypassing both terminal stations. On most nights we run according to a specified timetable. The two branch lines are optional, and only operate when we have enough members to operate them in addition to the stations. If we have a lot of members we will have four drivers controlling individual trains, while the station masters simply perform local shunting duties, plus setup signals and routes for the drivers.
Brisbane Yard is adjacent to Allandale and provides engineering, fueling and stabling services for train vehicles.

Altham Branch Line (Walgate to Altham)
Martins Ice Works lies just outside Walgate. Its principal role is to supply ice for refrigerated vans used to transport perishable products across the region.

Boorayugga Cattle Siding is a small facility that allows animals to be received for the local livestock market and for the transport of animals to other agricultural centers and the abattoir at St Aubyn.

Rockville Timber Siding is in a managed forests and produces logs, cut timber, timber chippings, sawdust etc for the paper mill at Walgate and the building industry in other cities. Workers can get to the timber yard using rail links from Bllegulla and Bryansford.
